Session 6: Nothing Moves Forward Without A Decision: Decision Support/Realistic Expectations
A September 2016 article in InvestmentNews pointed out that "as technology eliminates more tasks, advisers will need to make sure they are good at doing those things that computers cannot." Are you a true decision support resource for your clients? When your clients have a decision to make, do you present numbers, charts and graphs? After a client meeting have you asked yourself what were they thinking?
Financial and estate planning professionals who are trained in decision support techniques more effectively counsel clients who are making high impact decisions. Trained advisors who quickly build and maintain trust, foster more reasonable client expectations, and retain clients longer.
This interactive session with Marcey Walsh of Strategic Brilliance highlights decision support techniques to reduce mental friction for both you and your clients. Learn strategies to discover the real client agenda; engage in decision support; and leverage your resources for efficient delivery of client-centered care.
