Getting to the Finish Line: Part 2

Services, Tactics and Resources
to Help Clients Implement Estate Planning

Creating an estate plan is one thing. Helping clients successfully implement it is another.

FPA of Florida's four-part webinar series, Getting to the Finish Line, focuses on the practical tools, services and tactics that help planners move clients from intention to action to completion.

You'll explore three distince approaches: completing and funding plans, identifying gaps in existing plans, and using estate plan review to create better client conversations and next steps.

The series concludes with an interactive attendee discussion focused on what works, what gets in the way, and what you can put into practice.

Four sessions. $40. Practical ideas. One goal: helping more clients cross the finish line.

Many clients already have wills, trusts, powers of attorney or other estate planning documents.

The more important question may be:

Are they still the right documents—and is everything working the way the client thinks it is?

Changes in family circumstances, assets, tax laws, business interests or planning goals can leave gaps between an estate plan that was created years ago and what the client needs today.

AdvisorsEP focuses on helping financial planners recognize those gaps and determine the appropriate next step without expecting the planner to become the estate planning attorney.

In this session, attendees will explore ways to review what a client already has, identify areas that may need attention and coordinate with the right professionals to help move the planning process forward.

Why this session is different

This session is about diagnosis and coordination.

You’ll gain a practical way to move beyond simply asking whether a client has an estate plan and begin identifying where additional review, expertise or action may be needed.
